Sonoma Drift Rd. 2…The end of 2014

Low wind, bright sun, and a great crowd...This is was the recipe used for Sonoma Drift Rd. 2 at Sonoma Raceway. I don't think we will see a better weathered race day all year compared to this day. Day 1 of 2 consisted of a lot of drivers getting  grasp of the course layout with a whole day dedicated to practice. While most people were practicing the layout for the competition the next day; we had a couple drivers such as Crick Filippi trying the 360 degree drift going into turn 4. Though it.....

WSIR Top Drift Rd. 2

These past few weeks sure have been eventful with Vegas Pro-Am, Top Drift, and Sonoma Drift. I'm sure you all know how hard it is to schedule your time, money, and life to attend these events as a driver or media personnel. Our driver Joe "Joe-Show" Tardiff has been proving his dedication since the 2013 Season by attending literally every event he possibly could. Joe managed to make his way back to Top Drift for their Round 2 competition that took place on the infamous Horse-Thief Mile......

Golden Gate Drift Rd. 2

There’s California; home of the Golden Gate Bridge…and then there’s Northern California; home of Golden Gate Drift! The weekend of April 19th, The TBTM drivers and myself made our way to our first Pro-Am event as a team. We were able to get all the vehicles ready and prepped in time to compete in GGD’s Round 2 event at Stockton 99 Raceway. As stated by Luke, the founder of the GGD series, “This wasn’t going to be a walk in the park to make top 16.” As the morning unfolded and the.....

WSIR Top Drift Rd. 1

The last few years being introduced to drifting and the competition life behind it; I've always heard Southern California held the best events with the best drivers...to be specific...Top Drift! Being a part of TBTM now I'm motivating the guys to broaden their level of competition so first up was Joe Tardiff. As many of you know this is Joe's 2nd season as a driver and already has competed in various series' such as Vegas Pro-Am, Stockton Boost Series, Sonoma Drift and now after this past.....

Tardiff Tuesday: The 2014 look of Joe Tardiff!

When the off season is in session what are your usual plans for your car? For most it would be giving their car some TLC after a long season of abuse, but for our driver Joe it was a little more in depth than that. After a full year running his Ford 302 he chose to step it up for 2014 by throwing in a LS1. The LS dyno'd at 380whp, which is a nice little increase and stepping stone for him to get used to this season. After our first Wednesday Night Drift here at Sonoma Raceway you can tell Joe.....

SEASON OPENER: Sonoma Drift Round 1.

3/1/14: The season opener for Sonoma Drift has come and gone. This was a hard weekend for a lot of drivers. On Saturday's practice day we had a lot of cars not adapt to well with the wet conditions of the race track which caused them to damage their cars to the point of no return for the comp on Sunday. This was a very unfortunate situation that left us with only 4 drivers to compete on Sunday. Despite us loosing drivers on Saturday morning, another hurdle we had to overcome was that another.....

Winter Jam 2013

Since 2010 we have been ending the Northern California drift season with our signature event Winter Jam, which takes place at Sonoma Raceway. Unlike the past two years of only having a one day event, this year we switched it up with a two day event. Day 1: Meihan Night! Probably one of the biggest hits this year has to be our Meihan event days, or how most people call it...MAYHEM! In an event such as this we take every car from a group which can range from 10-20 cars, and get them all.....
