My sincere apologies on the tardiness of this post. We have been very busy in preparation for 2019. Let's get down to the nitty gritty. It was supposed to rain on Saturday, but we lucked out with only dark grey skies. I pulled up to the garages where TBTM was staged, and there they were...Crick, Joe, Elijah and even Crystal. TBTM has a whole all in one place! The last time I saw this was in 2015; shortly after Crystal's Driftmas production. Joe was cleaning his car, Crick just pulled out.....

2015, this was the last time Crick had the opportunity to drive Irwindale in competition form, and since then the rumor has been that each year would be the last year this track would still stand. We couldn’t take the gamble of missing Irwindale’s last potential year so without further adieu here is how our competition went at the iconic Irwindale Speedway.    Practice: A goodnight's sleep, healthy breakfast, and your support system ready to go are just a few things we needed.....

Crick and Texas Motor Speedway have had bad blood between each other since Crick earned his PRO2 license; Crick's first encounter with TMS resulted in not qualifying due to an ill-prepared car, and his second season we only ran the track 4 times before the supercharger broke. This season we gave TMS and fellow PRO2 competitors a run for their money, and all sights were set for a podium finish until....Well you just got to read to find out what happened. Monday 9/10: The team hits the road.....

TBTM x Formula Drift (St. Louis 2018)

After a high tempered event in Atlanta back in May, our priority as a team was to eliminate all potential failures on Crick's competition car before entering Round 2 of Formula Drift PRO2 in St. Louis. This meant we had to test as many times as we could at Sonoma Raceway as well as find any other local to semi-local locations holding drifting events. Luckily for us we were contacted by our friend Caleb Quanbeck to attend his 'Shotgun Bash' in Oregon alongside a local familiar face here in the.....

Bash to the Future VI – Elijah Wright

What is the first event you look forward to attending when the season starts? Is there one that you just HAVE to drive in or spectate? For Elijah Wright his full attention goes to traveling up north to Eagle Point, OR where Medford Cruise & Drift Evolution have been hosting the drift event dubbed; Bash to the Future.     2018 marks the sixth year of this event, and it has only grown since day 1. I remember the 1st year of Bash; Joe and Crick took home the top spot for team.....

Nexen Tire USA Formula Drift Partnership

In 2017, Formula Drift was being directed by Hankook, Achilles, Nexen, Falken, and Nitto for approved tire companies. So you might be asking yourself, 'Why Nexen?" or "How do you know what to go with?". This is an acknowledgment to our newest partner Nexen Tire USA and how we established this partnership.     Time crunching; something we are all far too familiar with. This was an ongoing pattern in 2017, and unfortunately for us, during this time we were cut from our tire partner.....

TBTM x Road Atlanta 2018

HOTlanta, The 'A', A-Town, ATL, or whatever you may call it; shows no mercy to this seasons' competitors in Formula Drift...   Day 1: Thursday After spending the week at teammate Crystal Hooks' back acre property and enjoying what Georgia had to offer, it was time to get down to business. The team showed up to Road Atlanta early so that we could setup our pit area plus get Crick on time to the first driver's meeting of the season. As Crick was in his meeting; team members Crystal, Jake,.....

Fitzgerald USA – Semi Casual Show 2018

We are all familiar with the wide variety of shows revolving around the automotive industry, but have you ever heard of a semi truck show? Yeah...neither have we, until Crick's partner Fitzgerald USA invited us to their Semi Casual Truck Show!   The timing was perfect; May 4-5 would be the days for the Semi Casual show, located at Bristol Dragway in Bristol, TN. After the show, we would be able to make our way to Atlanta, GA for the first round of Formula Drift PRO2 that would land on.....

Gates Promo: Asphalt to Agriculture

Last season we acknowledged our partnership with Gates Auto; one of the leading manufacturers of application specific fluid power and power transmission solutions.     This season we are grateful to announce that our partnership is continuing, but has kicked off in a slightly different route than expected...We all strive to make whatever we are racing as reliable as possible, but sometimes we seem to forget what gets us there or what pays the bills to get us to our.....
